What is Juvederm?
Juvederm is a smooth gel made of hyaluronic acid. A common ingredient in skin care products, hyaluronic acid is formed naturally in the skin, helping to provide firmness, smoothness, and hydration. Then, with minimal discomfort, an ultrafine needle is used to inject Juvederm into the soft tissue of the dermis, which is the dense layer of skin beneath the epidermis. The dermal filler immediately adds volume to the skin and helps to diminish wrinkles and folds. The unique formulation of Juvederm has shown to maintain its corrective results for an average of seven to nine months.
