What Is a Breast Augmentation With Lift?

A breast augmentation with lift, also called a mammoplasty with mastopexy, is a surgical procedure that enhances the volume, size, and shape of the breasts while restoring them to a more authentic-looking position on the chest. By combining these procedures, we can achieve comprehensive rejuvenation of the chest and adjust the nipples to a more appropriate position. Often, patients pursue a breast augmentation with lift in Houston after pregnancy, significant weight loss, or aging.

Pricing Your Procedure

The cost of your breast augmentation with lift in Houston will depend on the following factors:

  • Implant type
  • Surgical complexity
  • Whether additional procedures will be performed in the same session

After your consultation, our team will share a complete cost breakdown, including financing options, for full transparency.

What to Expect From Your Breast Augmentation With Lift in Houston

Your breast augmentation with lift will be performed at our QUAD A-accredited surgical center in Houston, and you’ll have a private recovery room to rest in after surgery. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis, and we’ll administer our signature IV sedation and nerve block to prevent pain and discomfort during and directly after treatment.

To begin your procedure, Dr. Eisemann will make strategic incisions along the chest to access the breast tissue and create an implant pocket. Your chosen implant will then be inserted above or below the chest muscle, and any excess or sagging skin will be removed. Dr. Eisemann will then redrape your skin over the breast to create a lifted, youthful shape and position, and your incisions will be closed with small sutures.

Gentle, Patient-Centered Recovery

Recovery after a breast augmentation with lift in Houston typically involves swelling, soreness, light bruising, and tightness in the chest, which should resolve within two weeks. We’ll provide you with a specialized surgical bra to help reduce swelling and encourage your tissues to settle properly.

Most patients can return to light activity, including gentle movement, desk work, and social gatherings, within two weeks. We recommend taking short walks every day to promote circulation and lymphatic drainage. You’ll need to avoid strenuous activities, including lifting your children, for up to six weeks.

Your Post-Op Process

After your procedure, Dr. Eisemann will share a customized recovery plan tailored to your individual needs. This plan may include the following items:

  • Incision site care and cleaning protocols
  • Supportive garment guidance
  • Recovery clothing options
  • Hygiene recommendations
  • Sleep position restrictions
  • Activity limitations
  • Swelling and pain management strategies
  • Side effects to monitor

You’ll return to our Houston practice several times over the coming weeks for follow-up appointments with our team. There, Dr. Eisemann will check your healing progress, remove any remaining sutures, and approve your return to high-impact activities, such as running, weight lifting, and intense exercise.

Types of Breast Augmentations

At Eisemann Plastic Surgery Center, we’re proud to offer patients multiple options for their breast enhancement. We can perform the following types of breast augmentations:

Implant-Based

The most common type of breast augmentation uses saline or silicone implants to enhance the shape, size, volume, and projection of the breasts.

Fat Transfer

Offering a more natural alternative to breast enhancement, a fat transfer augmentation uses liposuction to harvest and purify the patient’s fat cells for reinjection into the breast.

Augmentation with Lift

This procedure combines a traditional implant-based augmentation with a breast lift, restoring a more youthful breast position while also enhancing volume and size.

Completing Your Transformation

Many of our Houston patients include a breast augmentation with lift as part of an overarching body rejuvenation plan.

Complementary procedures include the following:

Breast Augmentation With Lift Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I need a breast lift, augmentation, or both?

During your consultation, Dr. Eisemann will examine your breasts, including your nipple position, to determine which procedure is best for you. We never recommend unnecessary procedures or suggest change for the sake of change.

Can larger implants fix sagging and replace a breast lift?

No. Implants are designed only to add volume, not to raise the nipple or fill sagging skin. Overly large implants can contribute to breast sagging in the long term. A breast augmentation with lift is the only way to address sagging and lost volume in one procedure.

Will my incision scars be visible?

Dr. Eisemann strategically places incisions along the body's natural curves, such as below the breast crease and around the areola, to minimize scar visibility after recovery. Breast lift procedures require additional incisions to remove excess skin, which may result in additional scarring around the breast. Our team can share scar care recommendations after you’ve healed.

How long will my results last?

The final results of your breast augmentation with lift are designed to be long-lasting, with many patients enjoying their outcomes for 10-15 years. However, breast implants are not lifetime devices, and you’ll need a replacement or revision procedure in the future.
