Developing large pectoral muscles is no easy task. Years spent at the gym may result in some definition to the upper chest, but without continuous upkeep, even that will quickly fade. Some men are simply not genetically predisposed to develop larger chest muscles, which can make even the slightest definition impossible to attain.

The benefits of endoscopic surgery for pectoral implants

The advantages offered by endoscopic pectoral implants include:

  • A smaller, less noticeable scar
  • Less chance of excessive bleeding
  • Reduced risk of infection
  • Less bruising and postoperative discomfort
  • Faster recovery period

Smaller scar, faster recovery

Dr. Michael Eisemann and Dr. Bradley Eisemann perform endoscopic pectoral implant procedures. With this technique, only a tiny incision in the armpit is required, which can significantly reduce surgical risks. Through the tiny incision, implants are placed with the help of a narrow tube with a small camera that reveals the inner structure of your chest.

What is the procedure?

The procedure involves placing an incision in the armpit, through which a tiny camera is inserted. Special surgical tools, guided by visual images produced by the camera, are used to create a pocket into which the implants are placed. The incisions are closed with sutures, and the procedure is complete. The surgery is typically performed with IV sedation and local anesthesia and takes one to two hours. You are free to return home to rest and recover after the operation is complete.

Are pectoral implants right for me?

During a private consultation at our Houston clinic, Dr. Michael Eisemann and Dr. Bradley Eisemann will be happy to answer any questions you have about pectoral implant surgery to help you better understand this process.

The physique you want

No matter how frequently or intensively you work out, you may have been unable to achieve defined pectoral muscles. With the help of our acclaimed plastic surgery team, pec implants can be placed to create the physique you want.

What is the recovery time for pectoral implants?

On the day of your surgery, you will want to rest. You will experience some pain and discomfort, easily managed with pain medications. You will need to wear a surgical compression garment to limit swelling, prevent fluid accumulation, and assist with the healing process. Your results will appear natural, and should last a lifetime. The incisions heal within ten days to two weeks, with the final result achieved in about six weeks.
